Natalie Grantner, LCSW, CEDS

I work with adults seeking help for eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, or mental health issues related to aging and chronic illness. My approach is primarily rooted in psychodynamic therapy, but I also integrate other therapuetic interventions when appropriate to best meet the needs of my clients.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), and a Certified Intuitive Eating Practitioner. I am licensed to practice in Indiana and Illinois. My work in the field of mental health began in 2005 and I have owned a solo private practice since 2017. I spent my early career in community mental health and in medical social work. My clinical training includes extensive supervision and training in the treatment of eating disorders, as well as ongoing coursework in modern psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy. This background allows me to provide a comprehensive and empathetic approach to therapy.

I am deeply passionate about helping individuals build self-awareness, foster meaningful connections, and engage in activities that lead to a fulfilling life. I believe in the importance of understanding how past experiences shape present behaviors, and I encourage my clients to explore these patterns in a supportive environment.

In our work together, you can expect to be met with warmth and authenticity. I respect each client's autonomy and aim to create a therapeutic experience that is meaningful to you. My ideal clients are those interested therapy to gain deep insights into themselves.

I am an active member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals and the Eating Disorder Task Force of Indiana. I have also presented at local community events and medical conferences on topics related to the outpatient treatment of eating disorders and intuitive eating.
